Is it permissible to apply the ruling of non-transference of dry impurity when it comes into contact with a pure, wet object to non-halal meat that contains fat? And does not being certain about the dryness of the impurity mean that it may have dried, and therefore the impurity does not transfer?

We advise the questioner to avoid complicating what Allah has made easy, and to steer clear of extremism and obsessive doubts (waswasah). We inform her that non-halal (definition) meat is impure (najis) and moist, and its effect transfers to whatever it touches. The ruling for moist impurity applies to it if it comes into contact with something dry. If it dries, the discussion of the jurists regarding dry impurity coming into contact with something dry applies to it. Doubt concerning the transfer of impurity does not necessitate a ruling of its transfer, for the original state remains as it was.
