What is the ruling on thinking about taking revenge on a person who seized my property and swindled me, despite my inability to recover it through legal means?

The debtor's procrastination is an unlawful injustice, and the wronged party has three options, the best of which is forgiveness and overlooking, for Allah the Almighty says: ﴿But whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah.﴾ [Ash-Shura: 40]. It is advisable to forgive, be patient, and seek reward from Allah, for forgiveness increases a servant in honor, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And Allah does not increase a servant in anything by forgiveness except in honor." One should beware of Satan's whispers to seek revenge, as that is a great crime and sin.
