Is it permissible to sell car spare parts when not all of them are available at the time of sale, and the missing parts are to be procured from other suppliers to be delivered to the customer?

It is not permissible to sell what you do not possess if you cannot guarantee its delivery to the buyer. The solution can be achieved through one of three scenarios:

1. Agree on the required spare parts and determine their price, then schedule the sale once you acquire them, without obligating either party. Once you possess them and the buyer inspects them and finds them مطابق (matching) the required specifications, the sale can proceed.

2. The buyer authorizes you to purchase the required spare parts for an agreed-upon fee as compensation for the agency, or the agency can be free of charge.

3. You first purchase the required spare parts from your neighbors, then transport them to your shop, and then sell them to the buyer.
