The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, bore witness to Paradise for a number of Companions, among them: the Ten Promised Paradise, Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas, Bilal ibn Rabah, Sa'd ibn Mu'adh, Fatimah, Al-, and Al-Husayn. He also bore witness for the people of Badr and those who participated in the Pledge of Allegiance under the Tree (Bay'at al-Ridwan). Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned that Ahl al- wal-Jama'ah (the People of the Sunnah and the Community) bear witness to Paradise for whomever the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, bore witness.
