Is the guardian of Paradise named Ridwan, and does the statement of Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him): "It has become well-known in narrations that Ridwan is the name of the guardian of Paradise, but I do not know of any authentic hadith regarding this," constitute an affirmation of the name?

It is well-known among scholars that the custodian of Paradise is the angel "Ridwan," however, this appellation has not been mentioned in the Holy Quran or in the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet; rather, it has been mentioned in some weak narrations. Ibn al-Qayyim, al-Manawi, and Ibn Kathir stated that Ridwan is the custodian of Paradise, and that he is the greatest among the numerous custodians. While what is established in the authentic hadiths is his title "al-Khazin" (the custodian) only, the widespread fame of the name among scholars makes its application probable.
