What is the wisdom behind the Prophet Sulayman's urgent request to bring the throne of Bilqis, knowing that her arrival would take months, and would the throne remain with him for this entire period?

The exegetes (scholars of Qur'anic interpretation) mentioned that among the wisdoms behind Prophet Sulayman's (peace be upon him) hastening the bringing of the throne with such speed was to demonstrate the greatness and power of Allah Almighty, and the kingship and prophethood bestowed upon him, as well as the capabilities subjugated to him, which were not granted to anyone before or after him. The faster the deed, the more awe-inspiring it would be to souls and the more overwhelming to the minds of disbelievers. Some said: Sulayman's request to bring her throne occurred when she was about a farsakh away from him, so the wisdom behind requesting speed is clear. Ibn Abbas mentioned that Sulayman was awe-inspiring, and when he saw a nearby glow and knew it was Balqis, and it had reached him that she had kept her throne, he requested its bringing.
