ما هو شرح حديث: "الدعاء مخ العبادة"؟

Du'a (supplication) is worship. It has been authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Du'a is worship," then he recited: "And your Lord said: 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you.' Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell humiliated." Du'a is the core of worship; that is, its essence and the secret of its strength, because the supplicant calls upon Allah when his hope in anything else is severed, and that is the reality of Tawhid (monotheism) and sincerity. Thus, du'a is the foundation of worship, and whoever supplicates frequently will feel the sweetness of closeness to Allah and connection with Him.
