Is it reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would sit up after sleeping, meaning he would not stand up immediately after lying down?

It has been established that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sat up after waking and wiped the sleep from his face before performing ablution and praying, as narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas. Some scholars have stipulated the desirability of emulating this action of his, but this action is considered among the natural human actions, the omission of which does not constitute a deviation from the Sunnah, and there is no text that discourages standing up immediately after waking from sleep.
