Is it permissible to pray with a firearm when there is a lack of stability in Algeria?

Praying with a firearm is permissible, provided it does not harm oneself or others. It is lawful to carry it when there is a compelling reason, as stated in the Almighty's words: "And when you are among them and lead them in prayer, let a group of them stand with you and let them take their weapons. Then, when they have prostrated, let them be behind you, and let another group come who have not prayed and let them pray with you, and let them take their precaution and their weapons. Those who disbelieve wish that you would neglect your weapons and your baggage so they could launch a single attack upon you." (An-Nisa: 102).
