Is a person rewarded for giving someone a gift to encourage them to memorize the Quran?

Memorizing the Quran is one of the greatest acts of proximity to Allah, for it involves reciting and reiterating the words of Allah, and reading each letter earns ten good deeds. The Quran will intercede for its companions on the Day of Judgment, and Surah Al-Baqarah and Al 'Imran will come as two clouds, pleading on behalf of their reciters.

It will be said to the companion of the Quran: "Recite, ascend, and recite distinctly as you used to recite distinctly in the worldly life, for your station is at the last verse you recite." The companion of the Quran here refers to one who memorized it by heart for the sake of Allah.

And whoever assists in memorizing the Quran and encourages it will receive a reward similar to that of the memorizer and reciter, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever guides to a good deed will have a reward similar to that of its doer."
