Is it conceivable for Allah to be unjust and to wish ill upon His servant, to the extent that He changes the condition of a devout, academically successful servant into one who falls short in his acts of worship and incurs the displeasure of his family, despite his repeated attempts at repentance and returning to the right path?

Allah is free from injustice, and people wrong themselves by exposing themselves to Allah's wrath, because Allah created for them will, ability, and choice, and their actions occur by their choice, not by compulsion.

It is not permissible to use predestination as an excuse for sins, just as Allah did not accept the polytheists' excuse of predestination for their polytheism.

Iblis used predestination as an excuse for his disobedience and lost, whereas Adam, peace be upon him, blamed himself for the injustice and attained forgiveness.

One must blame oneself and offer sincere repentance for sins. Abandoning prayer or performing it without purification are major sins.

One should strive against one's self and seek Allah's help to reform and refine it.
