What is the way to marry someone older than him who was the cause of his religious commitment, given obstacles such as his young age, the age difference, and his capabilities, and how can these be dealt with to avoid risks without abandoning her?

The standard for accepting or rejecting a suitor is the extent of his adherence to Islamic law, his good character, and his conduct. A difference in age should not be a barrier to rejection. It is advisable to perform Istikhara (prayer for guidance) regarding this matter, for Allah knows best what is good for His servant, as He Almighty said: "And perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not." (Al-Baqarah: 216). It is not permissible to establish an unlawful relationship with a woman who is not lawful for a man, nor to engage in actions that lead to becoming attached to her and loving her.
