Are there any Hadith mentioning that the Qur’an will be a witness against some people, just as there are Hadith regarding the Qur’an interceding for its reciter?

It is authentically established in the Sunnah that the Quran will intercede on the Day of Resurrection for its companions, as in the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Recite the Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for its companions on the Day of Resurrection." And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Fasting and the Quran will intercede for the servant on the Day of Resurrection."

Just as the Quran intercedes for its companions, it also testifies against those who oppose it by abandoning it, neglecting its obligations, and transgressing its limits, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "The Quran is a proof for you or against you." An example of this is the hadith that depicts the Quran as a man who contends with whoever disobeys its command or intercedes for whoever memorizes it and acts upon it.

Whoever makes the Quran his guide, it will lead him to Paradise, and whoever puts it behind his back, it will drag him to the Fire. Thus, it is clear that the Quran testifies for those who act upon it and contends against those who neglect it.
