What is the ruling on one who denies the hadiths mentioned concerning Gog and Magog, and holds that the verses mentioning them are a title applied to peoples who have reached the extreme in multitude and chaos?

Gog and Magog are two tribes from the offspring of Adam; they eat, drink, procreate, and die. Their emergence at the end of time is established by authentic,

mutawatir hadiths. The attempt to interpret their name as referring to any people

who lack order is a corrupt interpretation and a distortion of words from their

proper places. Whoever denies their emergence has gone astray. The reports from

the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding the descent

of the Messiah, son of Mary, and the emergence of Gog and Magog, have reached

the level of tawatur (widespread transmission), and denying them is an act of

disbelief and misguidance.
