Performing congregational prayer is better than praying individually, and some scholars have deemed it obligatory. However, if seeking congregational prayer leads to harm at work, the worshiper is excused from leaving it and praying individually. It is hoped that he will receive the reward for intending to pray in the mosque if he is prevented by an excuse.
