What is the description of Al-Hoora Al-’Ayn (the wide-eyed Houris) in the Quran and Sunnah, and what are the characteristics of a righteous wife in Paradise?

The believer's ultimate goal is to enter Paradise and attain the pleasure of the Most Merciful, where they will have everything they desire in the best of conditions, as Allah Almighty says: "And for you therein is whatever your souls desire, and for you therein is whatever you request. As an accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful."

Among the blessings of Paradise for men are the Houris (women of Paradise), whose descriptions are mentioned in the Qur'an: - "As if they were [guarding] pearls within their shells" (meaning intensely white). - "As if they were rubies and coral" (in their clarity and whiteness). - "Indeed, We have produced them in a [new] production. And made them virgins. Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age" (meaning loving towards their husbands and of the same age - 33 years old). - "Therein are good and beautiful women" (meaning perfect in character and beautiful in appearance). - "Purified spouses" (from all worldly harm and rancor). - "Limiting [their] glances" and "confined within their tents" (meaning they do not look at anyone other than their husbands and are committed to their homes).

The Sunnah (Prophet's tradition) also describes their beauty: the marrow of their shins can be seen through their bones, flesh, and clothes due to their extreme beauty. If one of them were to appear, she would illuminate what is between the heavens and the earth, and her head covering would be better than the world and all that is in it.

As for the believing women of this world, their status is superior to that of the Houris and of a higher degree, because they entered Paradise as a reward for their righteous deeds, whereas the Houris were created as a reward for the believer.
