What is the response to one who entirely abandons the Tarawih prayer in the Haram, on the pretext that the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not pray it in its entirety, and sufficed with eight rak'ahs?

Scholars have differed on the number of rak'ahs for Tarawih prayer. The majority view is that it is twenty rak'ahs, while the more correct (rajih) opinion is that it is eleven rak'ahs. And whoever prays eight rak'ahs with the Imam then performs Witr with three, their action is sound and should not be disapproved of. And for whoever stands with their Imam until he finishes, the reward of standing the entire night will be written for them.
