Is it permissible for a woman to invoke (a curse) upon the one who exposed her, and will her invocation be answered?

A woman must repent and increase her acts of obedience to mend her relationship with Allah. As for the man, he erred by backbiting her unless she was openly defiant in sin, and it is obligatory to conceal her faults and advise her privately. She is permitted to supplicate against him commensurate with the injustice he inflicted, though forgiveness and overlooking are preferable.
