What is the ruling on listening to someone who denies the hadiths of Bukhari and Muslim on the pretext that they do not conform to the Quranic text, claims that Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, was not infallible, and points to the importance of the number 19 in the Holy Quran?

Insolence towards the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is a sign of abandonment and deprivation. If the insolent person were sincere in his claim to follow the Quran, he would find the Quran filled with verses that glorify the status of prophethood and make following him, peace and blessings be upon him, obligatory. The Quran made following him, peace and blessings be upon him, a sign of Allah's love, and denied faith to anyone who does not make him the judge, as Allah Almighty says: "But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge concerning that which has been disputed among them and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission" (Quran 4:65), and His saying: "Say, [O Muhammad], 'If you should love Allah, then follow me, and Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful'" (Quran 3:31), and His saying: "And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty" (Quran 59:7), and His saying: "There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often" (Quran 33:21). Glorifying the number nineteen is a sign of the Baha'i sect, and we have clarified the misguided nature of this sect. Muslims are obligated to denounce what this deceiver brings and to warn against him.
