Is "Al-Ahad" among the Most Beautiful Names of Allah, and is it permissible to name one's son "Abd Al-Ahad"?

"Al-Ahad" (the One, the Unique) is one of the beautiful names of Allah explicitly mentioned in the Holy Quran, and it is permissible to be named "Abd Al-Ahad" (Servant of the Unique One). The meaning of Al-Ahad is the Singular, the Incomparable, the One unique in His essence and attributes, Who has always been alone and with Whom there was no other. Allah, the Almighty, is the One, the Unique, Who has no partner, no likeness, and no peer. He is the One Who is singled out with all perfections, and it is obligatory upon His servants to affirm His Oneness in belief, word, and deed.
