What is the ruling regarding my prayer after swallowing salt mixed with saliva during the prayer?

If the taste of salt remains in the mouth but no granules are left, swallowing it does not invalidate the prayer, because it is something that is carried by saliva and is difficult to avoid. However, if there is a discernible substance of salt remaining, it invalidates the prayer. Al-Hajawi said: "There is no harm in swallowing what remains in one's mouth or between one's teeth of food remnants without chewing, which is carried by one's saliva and is a small amount... and swallowing what has dissolved in one's mouth, such as sugar and the like, is like eating."
