If the death of the fetus in its mother's womb is confirmed by reliable doctors, then there is no sin in aborting it, and no blame upon the mother for that. A miscarried fetus that has not completed four months is not named, nor is an 'aqiqah performed for it, nor is it washed, nor is a funeral prayer offered for it. It may be buried anywhere, because the soul is not breathed into it before this period.
