We ask Allah for your brother's healing, and we advise him to be patient and seek reward from Allah. Treatment with , honey, and herbs is permissible as long as it does not result in harm. There is no harm in using "Ma' Al-Mahw" (water from washing off Quranic verses written on a board and then drinking it), while being wary of charlatans. Your brother must perform according to his ability and make up for any missed prayers, along with repentance. We advise you to make abundant supplications for him.
