Am I sinful for assuming that two people speaking a foreign language proficiently are disbelievers, then retracting by saying, "I don't know, God knows best"?

Their fluency in a foreign language does not mean they are disbelievers, and you should not have thought that based solely on this. As long as these thoughts did not persist, we hope there is nothing against you.
