The question

Is a person held accountable for the whispers of Satan and the questions that revolve in his mind about the reason for creating mankind with desires while being asked to avoid them, and the sin of one who is tortured while not having chosen his existence, and why doesn't Allah reform everyone as He reformed the Prophets?

The answer

What afflicts you of whispers concerning the unseen is from Satan, to corrupt your religion, and it is a sign of his despair in leading you astray. These thoughts, if they are merely internal monologues, do no harm as long as they do not settle in the heart. If you dislike them and repel them, then you are on goodness; indeed, that is clear faith. Delving into destiny (qadar) and scrutinizing it deeply is a dangerous matter that can lead to disbelief. The obligation is to submit to Allah the Almighty and to believe that He is the All-Wise, the All-Knowing, in His law and His decree.
