Is it permissible for a father to force his daughter to move and live in another place despite her refusal, knowing that the parents are divorced and the daughter lives with her grandmother near her mother?
If you are an adult of sound mind, you may reside wherever you wish, as custody no longer applies to you. You have the choice to live with whichever of your parents you desire, or to live independently. However, it is recommended that you do not live separately from them, nor should you cease to be dutiful towards them.
However, if your father's منع (prohibition) against you living with your grandmother is based on a sound consideration and an acceptable reason, then you must obey him. This differs from a situation where the prohibition is merely out of stubbornness. Similarly, if you wish to reside in a place other than your grandmother's house, he has no right to prevent you unless he has a valid reason for doing so. Strive to conciliate your father and earn his satisfaction.
