If there is a full brother or a paternal brother (male), then the children of the brothers inherit nothing. And if there is a full brother (male), then the paternal brothers and sisters do not inherit, whether male or female. This is by consensus among the scholars. Accordingly, in this case, the inheritance is divided among the full brother and the full sister, with the male receiving the share of two females. The evidence for this is His, the Almighty's, saying: (And if there are brothers, both men and women, then for the male is the share of two females).
