What is the ruling on playing the Qur’an in voice chats that contain songs and open cameras?

This act is unlawful and may lead to aversion to and disrespect for the Quran, accompanied by distraction, inattention, and perhaps even the commission of evil deeds. The advisor should clarify the legal ruling on songs and images, rather than merely playing the Quran. Al-Nawawi stated that respecting the Quran requires avoiding laughter, clamor, jesting, and looking at what distracts, and those present should object. Al-Buhuti mentioned the prohibition of recitation in markets due to the desecration involved. The Permanent Committee responded that it is impermissible to interrupt a call except for a necessity, and that the Quran is the word of Allah, thus it must be respected and recited for worship and contemplation, not merely for entertainment or filling time, and similarly for hadiths. There is no doubt that what occurs in voice chats is more serious, so the Quran must be safeguarded from such situations. It is not advisable to join these programs except for a caller (Da'i) who is well-grounded in knowledge and faith.
