Is it permissible for a woman to continue living with her husband who watches pornography, lies to her, and abandons prayer, knowing that he has performed Hajj and Umrah and has good morals?

Watching pornographic films is an reprehensible act, a gateway to temptation and indecency. Allah commanded lowering the gaze, and for a husband to do so in the presence of his wife is even more egregious. If he is negligent in prayer, then it is no surprise that he watches these films, for prayer prohibits indecency and reprehensible acts. As for his lying, it is forbidden except for what the Shariah permits between spouses to maintain their relationship. We advise you to counsel him gently and kindly, or to appoint someone to advise him, and to supplicate for him frequently. If he does not repent, the scholars recommend separation from one who is in his condition, but you are not obligated to separate from him. You may choose to be patient with him and try to reform him.
