Is my work as a manager of an "Internet Cafe" unlawful, knowing that some users misuse it for illicit video chats, while others use it for permissible purposes, and that I am merely a manager and do not have the authority to prevent that, and I have no other job?

The burden of sin falls upon the one who commits the forbidden act, and upon those who assist and facilitate it for them, and upon those who see evil and do not condemn it. It is not permissible to work or invest in internet cafes unless they are free from forbidden acts, by preventing visitors from accessing prohibited websites, in accordance with the Almighty’s saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." If it is not possible to control the cafe and prevent evil from it, then it is not permissible to open it. And if it is not possible to denounce evil, then one must leave the company of those who commit sins and seek permissible work, according to the Almighty’s saying: "So do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation; indeed, if you did, you would be like them." For, being content with sin is a sin. And there is fear for the worker in these places of weakening faith, and that Satan may lead him to sin. And whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better than it, for the Almighty’s saying: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect."
