Does a father who neglects his son, does not ask about him or his rights, and does not feel responsible for him, have the right to anger and pleasure, especially if he practices sorcery on his children?

A father has a duty towards his children, and he is accountable to Allah for any negligence in fulfilling it, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock." A father's shortcomings towards his children do not justify their shortcomings towards him; rather, they must honor and treat him kindly even if he does wrong. Filial piety is obligatory simply because he is a father, not in return for his good deeds.
