What is the ruling on marrying a young man whom the father has repeatedly rejected without clear reasons? And is it permissible to marry him against the father's will after he rejected him by saying: "Even if Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said this boy is good, I would say no"?

1. Communication between the engaged couple must be cut off because they are strangers to each other, and it is not permissible to establish a friendship or acquaintance before marriage. 2. The young man erred by lying to the father about his academic qualification, and he must repent from lying because it is one of the signs of hypocrisy. 3. The father erred by overstepping bounds and insulting the young man and his parents, and committed a grave error by slandering the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he must repent and seek forgiveness. 4. The questioner must completely sever ties with this young man and draw closer to Allah through supplication and acts of worship. 5. It is imperative to strive to marry a righteous man. If the young man is of good character and religious, and the guardian rejects him without a legitimate reason, the judge can compel the guardian to marry her to him. 6. If the young man's righteousness is established, he can seek the mediation of good people to influence the father.
