Is discussing the company's implicit, dissatisfactory management style concerning employees considered backbiting and a sin?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Backbiting is to mention about your brother that which he dislikes. Therefore, anything a Muslim dislikes to be mentioned about him constitutes backbiting, which is impermissible. Mentioning the faults of officials among close friends is not considered a justification for backbiting. One must be patient with the harm caused by people and in associating with them, for the one who patiently endures their harm receives a greater reward. One should seize the appropriate opportunity to offer advice to officials, for "Religion is advice (nasihah)" to Allah, to His Book, to His Messenger, to the leaders of the Muslims, and to their common folk.
