The answer

One should be keen to marry a religious woman, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Succeed with the one who is religious, and may your hands be soiled with dust [i.e., may you prosper]." This is because she is trustworthy with herself, keen to obey her husband, and dedicated to raising her children. You must strive to convince your father to agree. If he rejects the marriage because of the girl's , then there is no obedience to him, for obedience is only in what is right and lawful. One must also avoid mixing with the girl before marriage.
