Intoxicating beer falls under the ruling of wine (), and the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, cursed everyone associated with wine. Drinking it is forbidden. Whoever becomes addicted to it and dies without repenting will not drink it in the Hereafter. Therefore, it is impermissible to sell intoxicating beer or to work in any job that supports its sale, preservation, handling, or accounting. A Muslim must distance himself from this work because it is an abomination, and whoever abandons it in obedience to Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better.
