Is writing in forums considered knowledge from which one benefits?

Writing in forums, if it is to clarify a Shariah ruling, or point to a good deed, or guide to a beneficial matter concerning religious or worldly affairs, then it falls under "knowledge from which benefit is reaped." This is because the Hadith (definition) includes both worldly and afterlife knowledge. It appears that the Hadith is general, and for any knowledge from which benefit is reaped, one receives reward, whether it is religious knowledge or worldly knowledge.
