What is the ruling on one who forbade himself from using Facebook and a specific person's page, then returned to them?

If someone forbids something lawful upon themselves, other than their wife, an expiation for breaking an oath (kaffarat yamin) becomes obligatory upon them, provided they vocalize the prohibition with their tongue. As for mere thoughts or self-talk, nothing is binding.
