Is "A Section on the Creed of the Salaf Regarding Letters and Sounds" a book by Al-Nawawi? And did Al-Nawawi change his view from the Ash'ari school of thought to the school of thought of the Salaf?

It is not correct to attribute the book to Al-Nawawi, may Allah have mercy on him, for several reasons, including: the book lacks an isnad (chain of narration), no one has attributed it to Al-Nawawi, and in it, he explicitly states that he is quoting from Sheikh Abu Al-Abbas Al-Armawi Al-Shafi’i, knowing that Al-Nawawi held the Ash’ari creed and never renounced it. He chose tafwid (consigning the meaning of the divine attributes to Allah) regarding the attributes and attributed it to the methodology of the Salaf.
