Is it permissible to change the intention for Hajj from Tamattu' to Qiran for someone who has not brought the sacrificial animal (hady), and did 'Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, offer her sacrifice on the Day of Nahr after she became Qarinah?

If a pilgrim performing Tamattu' Hajj is unable to perform Umrah (definition) before Hajj, they should change their intention to Qiran (definition) (combining Hajj and Umrah) for fear of missing Hajj. By doing so, the rituals of Umrah become incorporated into Hajj. There is no difference in this regard between one who has brought a sacrificial animal and one who has not.

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, slaughtered a cow on behalf of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her. As for her statement, "And there was no sacrifice, charity, or fasting in that," there are several interpretations by scholars: either it is an insertion in the hadith (definition) and not Aisha's own words, or she was not required to do so because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, took responsibility for it on her behalf, or the meaning is that no sacrifice was obligatory upon her due to committing any prohibitions of Ihram (definition).
