When can the 'Aqeeqah be performed for a newborn girl, what are its conditions, and is it permissible to perform it during the period of the father's death?

The 'Aqiqah is the sacrifice slaughtered for a newborn. It is a confirmed Sunnah. Two sheep are slaughtered for a boy and one sheep for a girl. It is Sunnah to slaughter it on the seventh day after birth; if not possible, then on the fourteenth; and if not, then on the twenty-first. It is permissible after that without a specific time limit. Nothing is sufficient for it except what is sufficient for the Udhiyah (sacrifice) in terms of being free from defects and reaching the prescribed age (camels 5 years, cattle 2 years, goats 1 year, sheep 6 months). It is Sunnah to cook all of the 'Aqiqah, even what is given in charity. It is not a condition for the father to see the blood of the 'Aqiqah. The recent death of the father does not prevent the 'Aqiqah, as it is an expression of gratitude for the blessing of the child.
