It is permissible for a man to wear short and transparent clothing that does not resemble women's clothing in the bedroom or during intercourse, but wearing women's clothing is not permissible. The differing opinions of scholars in matters of jurisprudential discretion stem from their different understandings and perceptions, and it is a divine wisdom that some evidences of can bear more than one interpretation. However, no one's statement is above the statement of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and if a Sharia evidence is established, it is not permissible to contradict it with anyone's statement. Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, do not put [yourselves] ahead of Allah and His Messenger." And the diligent scholar is rewarded for his diligence, whether he is correct or mistaken.
