Was Imam Abu Hanifa a Tabi'i, or from the followers of the Tabi'in?
Imam Abu Hanifa was born in the year 80 AH. He is considered from among the Tabi'in because he met some of the Companions, but his narrations from any of them have not been authentically established. He did see Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him.
