It is incorrect to say that the always faces southeast everywhere, as its direction varies from one country to another. It cannot be fixedly determined by the sun in all places and at all times due to the sun's changing position. Ibn Uthaymeen stated that placing the sun to the left to determine the Qibla is incorrect. Modern devices have emerged to accurately determine the Qibla. Furthermore, the North Pole can be used to determine the Qibla, by positioning it in different directions depending on the country.
