How can the direction of the Qibla be determined using the sun and the four cardinal directions, and is it true that its direction is always to the southeast?

Ibn Uthaymeen stated that placing the sun to the left to determine the Qibla is incorrect. Modern devices have emerged to accurately determine the Qibla. Furthermore, the North Pole can be used to determine the Qibla, by positioning it in different directions depending on the country.
