Is it better to discuss marital relations in detail given the overwhelming influence of media, or is it better to leave them undiscussed and not address them? And what about accusing those who discuss them of inciting lust and strife?

Allah has commanded spouses to live together with kindness (ma'ruf), and this includes sexual intimacy, which requires sexual education to strengthen the relationship. There is both excess and negligence in disseminating this education. Excess occurs when it is spread immodestly and unnecessarily, while negligence involves preventing the learning of its legitimate شرعي rulings. Islamic law has addressed these matters through allusions and etiquette, relying on natural inclination (fitra) and acquired knowledge. There is no harm in consulting serious, beneficial, and trustworthy websites and books when there is a real need (at the time of marriage or shortly before). However, direct participation in forums carries major risks, such as the prying of immoral individuals. Viewing these websites must be controlled by avoiding forbidden images and vulgar language, not presenting topics with audio and video, and expanding education beyond sexual matters to include Islamic ethics, child-rearing, household management, and religious knowledge specific to women. It is not permissible to publish pornographic images, but speaking and writing are permissible if they adhere to شرعي controls and public etiquette.
