Is it permissible for me to commit suicide if I am a failure, afflicted with many illnesses, and wavering in faith and affiliation?
Suicide is one of the gravest sins that necessitates eternal damnation in Hell, and it is impermissible to commit it regardless of the circumstances. Thoughts of suicide stem from a weakness in faith regarding Allah's decree and destiny. A believer is content with Allah's decree, patient in times of tribulation, and thanks Allah in times of ease and hardship. They address failure by relying on Allah and taking necessary measures, and they address trials by supplicating and seeking refuge in Allah. Faltering in belief is a serious matter that requires treatment by adhering firmly to the Qur'an and , accompanying scholars, and frequently seeking refuge in Allah. True loyalty is to Allah, His Messenger, His religion, and the believers.
