Is the testimony of the Tashahhud in prayer accepted with only the wording "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah," or must "His servant and Messenger" be added? Is it prescribed not to bend the right leg in the Tashahhud? What is the ruling on frequently uttering the Shahadah within it? Is it desirable to supplicate after it? What is the ruling on saying "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave, and from the torment of Hellfire, and from the trials of life and death" at the end of the last Tashahhud?

The minimum sufficient Tashahhud is: "All salutations are for Allah, peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." It is better to add "His slave and His Messenger" instead of "His Messenger."

Sitting during the Tashahhud is a Sunnah, not an obligation, so any manner of sitting is sufficient.

If the questioner repeats the Shahada due to waswas (obsessive whispering), we advise them to ignore the waswas and recite the words of Tashahhud only once, then send blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) and supplicate.

The mentioned supplication: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hellfire, and from the punishment of the grave, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the Masih Ad-Dajjal (Antichrist)" is among the best supplications after the last Tashahhud and before the salutation.
