What is the religious ruling regarding a husband who frequently utters divorce, expels his wife and son, shares his and his daughter's salaries with his wife, slanders and beats his wife, and is the wife entitled to seek divorce without compensation?

If a husband divorces his wife twice, and takes her back after each divorce, then divorces her a third time willingly and knowingly, she becomes irrevocably divorced from him (Talaq Bainunah Kubra). She is not permissible for him again unless she marries another man in a marriage of genuine desire, and then that man divorces her or dies, and her waiting period (iddah) ends.

However, if the husband denies issuing the divorce, the general principle is that his word is accepted, unless the wife is certain that three divorces have occurred, with the husband having taken her back each time. In such a case, it is not permissible for her to remain with him, and she must separate from him.

This matter requires being brought before a court.
