Is it considered polytheism (shirk) to think that God is unjust or that I know better than Him regarding a specific aspect of His decrees that I do not comprehend in this world, even though I know that no one will object to God's judgment on the Day of Resurrection?

Belief in Allah transcends mere belief in His existence to encompass faith in His perfect attributes and His majesty. All His rulings are based on knowledge, justice, and wisdom, and anything that contradicts His ruling is ignorance. Minds are limited, and religion may bring that which bewilders them, but not that which is impossible for them. The first step in Islam is submission to Allah in all matters, for the believer does not choose from his religion what suits his whims. Hating what Allah has revealed nullifies good deeds. To renew faith, one must purify the heart and renew repentance and turning to Allah, while frequently reciting the Qur'an, which reassures hearts.
