Is it permissible for me to ask my mother, who wears tabarruj (displays her adornments), to buy clothes for me or to go out with her, knowing that she will be wearing tabarruj, and I cannot assign this task to anyone else?

A woman's immodest (tabarruj) outing to the marketplace is forbidden, whether she is alone or with her daughter. It is not permissible for the daughter to ask her mother to go out immodestly, as this constitutes cooperation in sin. If the daughter needs to buy something and cannot find anyone to buy it for her, she may go out for her need while adhering to the limits of Sharia. The guardian of the woman and her daughter must object to her immodest outing with wisdom and good counsel.
