What is the ruling on someone saying in poetry: "The fire of Hell is easier for me than your separation"?

The phrase mentioned is an exaggeration that is impermissible, as it may imply underestimation of Allah's punishment and that it is lighter than separation from a loved one. Allah's punishment is more severe and horrific than any worldly afflictions. Muslim narrated from Anas ibn Malik that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The most comfortable of the people of the world from among the people of Hell will be brought on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be dipped once in the Fire. Then it will be said: 'O son of Adam, have you ever seen any good? Has any comfort ever passed by you?' He will say: 'No, by Allah, my Lord!'" The Companions used to avoid hearing poetry that contained meanings contrary to Sharia, as Ibn Umar did with Iyas ibn Khaythama, and Uthman ibn Maz'un with Labid ibn Rabi'ah.
